VEX Tournament Schedule - Saturday, December 17, 2016

CONCESSIONS:
Concessions will be open when you arrive Saturday morning with coffee, juice, fruit, pastries and other concession items. They will also be open throughout the day for purchase of drinks and snack items.



Tentative Schedule 7:30-approximately 5:00
7:30 am Doors open for Check In & Lunch Payment
8:00 am Concessions open
8:30 am Drivers Meeting
9:00 am Opening Ceremonies
9:15 am Competition begins
12:00 pm Lunch Break, or best stopping point as matches allow.
12:45 pm Competition resumes

KING TeC Minne Mania Robotics Tournament 2016

King TeC hosts the Minne Mania Regional Robotics Tournament on Saturday November 19. 

 This competition is a re-play of last season's FRC game. 

 More than 2000 people will visit the tournament to watch 36 FRC teams from all over Minnesota & North Dakota compete. 

 There will also be several teams of local elementary students competing in an FLL (First Lego League) tournament and a JrFLL (Jr First Lego League) Demonstration. 

 It will be located at Prior Lake High School from 7am - 6pm.

VEX Middle School Robotics Info Night Is Tuesday, September 19

6th - 7th - 8th graders and their parents/guardians interested in robotics are invited to the Middle School Robotics program information night on: 

Tuesday, Sept 20th 2016
7pm in the PLHS Auditorium.

The middle school robotics program uses the VEX robotics platform and follows the principles of FIRST, For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology. 

The mission of FIRST “is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.”

2016 FLL & Jr FLL Registration Now Available

Lego Robotics Parent Information - Team Formation 
Registration Nights August 30th  or September 1st at Prior Lake High School Lecture Hall 

Jr. First Lego League – 6:00pm 
Minnesota First Lego League – 7:00pm 

Jr. First Lego League - Grades K - 3 - Fall 2016 –Jr. FLL guides students into looking at a real world problem and creating a LEGO based model. They will create a show me poster showing team research, information about the team and their model to display at a local expo. 

Minnesota First Lego League - Grades 4 - 8 - Fall 2016 – FLL focuses on a real life problem and includes three parts; the Robot Game, the Project, and the FLL Core Values. Students will research the problem, prepare a presentation and build a LEGO-based robot that compete at a regional competition.

***registration is not complete until we have received your fee and deposit check and you have been confirmed on team.  Fees for participation this year are k-1 Jr FLL $60.00, 2-3 JrFLL $75.00, and FLL $120.00. A deposit check for Jr.FLL in the amount of $25.00 and $50 for FLL.
